The steaming 97 degree Holiday know as
Memorial Day
is over for another year.
I learned a valuable lesson during this holiday,
and that lesson is keep away from the
"AVOID FOODS"
no matter that your taste buds are throwing a temper tantrum!!!
Don't listen when you think "oh a little of that will not hurt me."
It started Saturday, when Eric came over after a trip to the Farmer's Market with some candy which are called "zagnut" this is a crispy peanut butter and coconut, melt in your mouth, Devil.
No, I'm not blaming Eric that I ate 4...when it's me, myself, I, that knows what the ER4YT says are the "Avoids"...
peanut butter & coconut...
We followed this little treat with our actual cook out foods. Usually,
I will eat my burger without a
bun (wheat) but ya know it's "the holiday"...sigh
Sunday, day two of the long holiday weekend
also our lazy day of watching movies, doing laundry.
I don't cook on Sunday's !!
Sunday, is each for there own , scrounging the fridge and freezer and lo & behold I found a 1/4 bag of
shrimp ( shellfish)..my - my I guess I will finish these off, don't want them going to waste
( hubby doesn't eat sea food).
Later, hubby decides he wants plain ole box
mac & cheese ( wheat) ....
as he sat eating I thought " oh, that looks good, I will have a "little" of that...
Monday: ya know the actual Holiday!
Well , I was so sick I couldn't enjoy the day ..My hands and feet were very swollen, every joint in my body hurt ....
My stomach was so bloated I looked 4 months pregnant,
and I'm to old people to be pregnant...
MORAL TO STORY
Don't let your cravings
taste bud temper tantrums win
Use your will power with all your might
and
keep away from foods that you should not eat
Just say
NO
to the
"AVOIDS"
They are as harmful to your body as
Crack!!
